Worn Again is developing an innovative, solvent based chemical recycling process for polyester and cotton textiles and PET plastic packaging, with the backing of one of the world’s best known fashion retailers and a major global engineering firm.
Worn Again is seeking to appoint a polymer scientist to join our Research and Development team in Nottingham, UK. The successful candidate will possess at least a first degree in polymer science or a closely related discipline and will have significant first-hand experience of working with poly(ethylene terephthalate) in an industrial setting, preferably in a manufacturing, processing or extrusion capacity.
The role will require the candidate to work alongside an established research team of chemists and chemical engineers to upscale and commercialise a PET recycling process, hence experience of working at the research/operations interface would be advantageous.
Position is full time though individual consultants with relevant expertise will be considered, and is based in Nottingham. Package commensurate with experience. Please send CV and covering email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
